Dot IT Domain Name Registrations

Established in 1987, Italy’s dot IT country-specific domain is very popular both locally and in the English-speaking world. The reason is that the domain is a pronoun, which can be used for constructing inventive and attractive domain names – write.it, youcanmake.it and so on. Since .IT domains are not provided directly by IT-NIC, the Registry organization that supervises this TLD, such a domain can be secured through a third-party service provider, such as ours. Since there are existing Second-Level Domains that include names of various areas and localities in Italy reserved for local third-level registrations, new names that consist of geographical areas of any kind are not allowed on any level to avoid any future confusion.
