Multiple OS in VPS
Our virtual private server packages feature three Linux releases which you can choose from for the Operating System of your new web server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being absolutely free, the OSs are very stable and risk-free and the primary reason to offer you the 3 of them is to ensure that you'll be able to run any application that you would like, since different pieces of software have different requirements when it comes to the environment they can be used on. Each one of the three OSs is supported by a large community of web developers who have created many hundreds of software packages which you can install and use on your VPS. Depending on the Operating System which you choose, you will also be able to choose between three different Control Panels to control your website hosting content. Of course, if you decide that you need some other OS, we can always re-install the server with it. As a paid upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're absolutely free so they will not increase the low price of your new server, but also because they are extremely secure and stable. Each of them is backed up by a big community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you could install on your server in case the app that you intend to employ has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we want to give you as much freedom as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a given Operating System, we can change it upon request in case it turns out that you need alternative one. We can also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of our useful Managed Services upgrade.
